Our Founders Mr. SP. Lakshmanan and Mrs. Puvaneswary Lakshmanan have a strong background in Agriculture, Farming and Finance.

Though they both couldn't go beyond secondary school level education, they took a vow to graduate all five of their children, three daughters and two sons; and succeeded in that owing to their persistent effort!

Their two sons, our co-founders, Rajaganapathy Lakshmanan and Karthigueyane Lakshmanan realised the value of education and took it very seriously. After formal education, they both ended up starting their career as Software Engineers in 1999 and 2000 respectively.

Rajaganapathy Lakshmanan earned an Undergraduate Degree in Mathematics and a Master Degree in Computer Applications. He started his career as a Software Engineer in Chennai in 1999. Within a few months, he landed in the United States of America, established himself as a strong key player in his organization, eventually got his Green Card and thought he would happily live through the rest of his life there.

Karthigueyane Lakshmanan earned an Undergraduate Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

He too started his career as a Software Engineer in Chennai in 2000, established himself as an irreplaceable resource. After three years he moved to New Delhi in 2003, following the same trait, once again established himself as an irreplaceable resource. He was always looking for a multitude of avenues to explore and he realised that the corporate contracts wouldn't allow him to pursue his dreams. To come out of the Non-Compete Agreement imposed by his employment contract, he quit his regular employment in 2005 and he worked as an independent consultant for 2 years to fulfil his contractual agreement. Then he started his own Software Company at Chennai in 2007, working alone to avoid distractions and made use of his free time to pursue his dreams.

They both were happy and content with their work & life and they progressed very well in their own distinct ways. On a weekend night in 2009, sitting across the Globe, they both started off with a casual conversation that spawned a variety of topics and ended up in choosing Scientific Research as their next avenue to explore. After a quick brainstorming session, they both decided to explore the Energy Sector without even knowing the ABCs of that elite sector and the hurdles they are going to face.

They both soon realised that they can not ride two horses at the same time, a regular work in the software domain and the research work in the energy sector. Karthigueyane Lakshmanan decided that he can take a break from his regular work and concentrate on their research work extensively.

Life wouldn't be interesting if everything goes well as planned. Soon they realised the financial crunch and decided to get back to regular work to regain their financial stability.

Again in 2013, they both realised the need for reviving their research work. This time Rajaganapathy Lakshmanan took a bold decision to leave his well established career in the United States of America and his Green Card Holder Status.

Relentlessly carrying out their research work for the next few months, they both drafted the patent document on their own without seeking any professional help, filed their Preliminary Patent Application in India for their work on "DUAL-STAGE PARABOLIC CONCENTRATOR" in short "DSPC", on 19th Jun 2014. That was the most memorable day in their life and they felt a sigh of relief.

Again as the saying goes, life wouldn't be interesting if everything goes well as planned. They just had an year to file their Complete Specification. So they started again with the same rigour and upon getting satisfactory results from their simulations, they finalized the patent claims by themselves and went on to file their Complete Specification on 18th June 2015, just a day before the one year time limit.

Without having much knowledge on the International Patenting process they thought it had to be done after a year of filing the complete specification in India. However, they soon realised that the International Patenting Process should be initiated within one year of filing the complete specification in India. By then, the time had lapsed and they had to lose their priority date in the PCT application. Knowing that there was no other application with the same design during that period, they accepted it gracefully.

Being confident in their work, they applied for early examination and there came a shocker. The patent examiners cited a few similar patent applications and raised their objections. Just by looking at the drawings on those cited patent applications, they very well knew that those designs were not at all close to what they have done. Now they realised the need for seeking professional help from patent attorneys to defend their application and its claims. It was not so easy and not affordable for their self-funded research, but they eventually managed to get their first Written Opinion from the International Preliminary Examining Authority on 8th Sep 2016, confirming the Novelty, Inventive Step and Industrial Applicability of all their claims cited in their Patent Application.

The story doesn't end here. Then came the National Phase Applications. They choose to take their application to all major regions across the Globe. But, limited by their financial backup, they choose to limit their foreign applications to the USA, 6 Major Countries in Europe (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom) and China only.

In the meantime, they built physical prototypes to validate their theory and simulation results. Though the prototypes they built were miniature SSPC (Single Stage Parabolic Concentrator) and DSPC (Dual Stage Parabolic Concentrator) Trough Concentrators with an aperture of 200 mm x 100 mm, they could see a satisfactory improvement in the DSPC's performance.

With this confidence, they thought the National Phase for individual countries will be much easier as they have the Written Opinion from the International Preliminary Examining Authority, simulation results and the real world test results.

However, every patent office had their own search and examination procedure, resulting in objections citing the same set of patent applications they defended during their International Preliminary Search. Knowing the uniqueness of their work, they stood strongly at every patent office and got all their applications granted. This battle finally ended on 24th Nov 2020, after getting their Chinese Patent.

By that time the world was panicked by Covid-19 and caused further delays and a financial crunch.

On 6th Jun 2023, With the blessings of our Founders SP. Lakshmanan & L. Puvaneswary, they incorporated SuPaLakhshA (derived from a mutated variant of their Father's name) to commercialize this technology, but they had some more roadblocks which prevented them from progressing as planned. It took a couple of more years to come out of all those struggles and here they stand tall today in 2025, expecting a warm acceptance from the entire world for their self incubated baby fondly christened as "DSPC".

Jamal Kiyasudeen is a childhood friend of Karthigueyane Lakshmanan. They used to share their lunch boxes and do home works together during school days back in 1994 - 1996.

Jamal Kiyasudeen, a Global Business Strategist with 22 years of experience driving scalable growth, building cross-border teams, and transforming companies with Harvard-backed strategy and execution, based in Dubai.

He joined hands with Rajaganapathy Lakshmanan & Karthigueyane Lakshmanan in 2025 as Chief Global Strategy Officer (CGSO) of SuPaLakhshA.

Now the mission is to elevate this technology to industry leaders where the possibilities of infinite energy for Earth Sustainability and Space Explorations can be explored.

Now, all five of them are eagerly looking forward to witnessing the magnificent growth of a little spark created in 2009, that's going to engulf the entire world and beyond, after 16 long years of persistence!!!
